Free Pattern: Beary Sweet Pouch

Happy February! By this time each year, I am ready for some COLOR in my life (Januarys in Utah get very blah) so Valentine’s Day is a great way to brighten life.

Growing up, my mom always had a special Valentine-y gift for each of us at the breakfast table. I always loved seeing the hearts, reds and pinks.

With those memories in mind, I wanted to create something that could easily and quickly be made to brighten someone’s Valentine’s Day too. I really like how this little “beary sweet pouch” turned out. I think it would be cute in other colors year round too… but we always can use some hearts and love reminders, right?

I added a snap on the inside to keep it closed, but this is totally optional.

The pouch can hold treats, a card, jewelry, special notes and more.
