Fall is my favorite season and I am lucky to live where the leaves change colors and the air turns crisp. I love having a cowl to keep my neck warm during the cool breeze and then for the winter chill. I loved how it turned out and made a beanie to match.
It wasn’t until my two oldest kids moved south (NC and Texas) that I realized not everyone has four distinct seasons. Whether or not you can use this squishy soft beanie and cowl, maybe someone on your gift list would love it.
About The Pattern

I wanted a bulky weight hat with a softer feel then most bulky weight items I’d seen and that is why I chose a P hook. An N hook could be substituted. The hat will be a little smaller and not as slouchy.
Materials
Yarn: Super Bulky Weight Yarn (size 6) in one or two colors, 160 yds.
Crochet Hook: P (11mm)
Miscellaneous: yarn needle for weaving in ends
Size: One size to fit Preteen to Adult
