Free Pattern: Goose Tutu

My daughter and grand daughter have always loved tutus so I got thinking… our geese would be super cute in tutus! Ducke (my goose) was not thrilled with modeling this one and decided it is really time to get him a girlfriend. That way each month I can release two different styles.

This looks really cute with my Goose Wigs and Santa Hat too. Think how fun it will be for the fourth of July!

Watch for more fancy outfits to come each month. You can find the latest “Ducke and Goose” patterns at THIS LINK and find more goose outfits and accessories at THIS LINK.

21. Ch 1, *sc 2, 2sc in the ch 2 space*, repeat to end of round, sl st to join. Finish off and weave in ends.

Cut 40 pieces of netting/tulle 20” long. Fold two pieces in half. Pull the center loops through one of the openings from step #20. Pull the ends through the loops until the netting/tull is snug against the dress. Repeat for each opening. Trim the bottom edge of the tutu if needed.

Bow

1. With an I hook and green yarn, ch 31, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (30sts)

2-4. Ch 1, turn, hdc in the same st and in each st to end of row.

5. Ch 1, turn, sc in the same st and in each st to end of row. Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing and center of bow.

Fold the rectangle, matching the short ends. With a yarn needle, use the yarn tail to sew the ends togehter.

Move the seam so it is center back of the bow. Use the remaining yarn to wrap around the middle of the bow several times, cinching in the center. Sew the middle of the bow to the green section of the dress, right before the tutu begins.
