Pattern: patriotic slippers for the family
I have wanted to make a pair of squishy soft, patriotic slippers for quite some time. I made these for my dad and love how they turned out.
I’ve written the pattern to make the color changes as simple as possible and included close up photos of each color change step.
I think they are cute in other colors too.
About the Pattern
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate with knowledge of working front post stitches.
These are not hard to make, especially once you get into a groove for changing colors.
These could also be made with solid color sections.
Email help is available. I would LOVE for you to make a pair because they are comfortable to wear and can fit a wide variety of people.
MATERIALS AND DETAILS:
Yarn Weight: Worsted weight. 100 yards each in red, white and blue.
Yarn Colors used in sample: Red Heart Baby Hugs in Ladybug, Blueberry and Frosting
Miscellaneous: Yarn needle, measuring tape
Crochet Hook: H, I
Sizes: Child, Womens, Mens
Gauge with an H hook: 2 inches = 7.5 hdc and 8 rounds
Gauge with an I hook: 2 inches = 6.5 hdc and 4.5 rounds
