I have been super excited to show you all a project I have been working on for the “Celebrate Mom Cal“, sponsored by Premier Yarns. I can finally show you!
While planning our projects, I decided to make a towel to use at the beach (or wherever your “day at the beach” might be). I live on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains so my “beach” has a slightly different view than you’d imagine.
Premier Yarn sent me FABULOUS cotton yarns to use. I had used several of their yarns before, but not their cottons. I hope you will have the chance to give these yarns a try.
What I liked most:
The colors are AWESOME! Rich and a nice selection. My favorites are the “Marls”, shaded yarns that create a really nice shaded and highlighted appearance.
The yarn is a really nice weight. Not too light and not too heavy.
It is easy to work with and glides nicely on the hook.
I will definitely be ordering some more of this yarn, especially the splash colors. LOVE them!
Crochet Along Event
Each Friday, from March 30th – May 12th, a new pattern will be released as part of our “Celebrate Mom Cal“. All of the designs were created to complement each other, but would each make a wonderful gift on its own. You will also be able to use these patterns year round. I think you are going to love each design.
My Beach Towel pattern will be available next Friday, April 7th. I hope you will join me and enjoy this project.
Instructions will be included for two different towel options; a 28″ x 50″ towel and a longer “Lounge Towel” with a pocket to slip over the top of your chair or to carry the towel.
