While designing a new sampler scarf, I really enjoyed one of the stitch patterns. It is created with basic crochet stitches and creates a great scalloped edge. I know there are other cloths out there with a similar stitch combo because it is a popular one.

Scalloped Wash Cloth

Materials
Cotton yarn in choice of color (s)
Crochet Hook: H
Yarn needle for weaving in ends.
Size: 6.75″ square
Directions
- With H hook, ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in ea ch across. (24sts)
- Ch 2, turn, sk 2, (sc, hdc, dc) in next st, repeat to end of row.
3-16. Repeat step 2. - Ch 1, turn, sc in each st to end of row. Finish off and weave in ends.
