With a yarn needle and red or blue yarn, stitch one letter to each star. Make sure two points are sticking out each side. See main photo.

With a yarn needle and matching yarn, stitch the touching points together. Use brads or something similar to attach the stars to the calendar.

Assembly

  • Follow main calendar pattern to create the tiles. Attach the tiles to the calendar with brads or desired items.
  • Snaps:
    • Overlap the bottom sections of the sparklers with the outer two at an angle.
    • Use a yarn needle and matching yarn to sew the layers together.
    • Use a yarn needle and yarn tail to sew a star at the top (widest part) of each sparkler.
    • Center the outer stars over the snaps already sewn to the organizer to find placement. Sew two coordinating snap pieces to the backs of the stars so they line up with the snaps on the organizer.
