Braids: (Make 2) Cut 9, 20” (short braids) -30+” strands of yarn (use more than one color if desired). Pull one end of all strands through tip of one earflap. Pull through until even with other end and braid. Tie a knot in the end, approximately 2” from bottom of braid. Trim ends. Repeat for other side.

Vine: With I hook and green yarn, ch 50, 2sc in 2nd ch from hook, sk 1, 3sc in next ch, repeat to end of chain. Finish off and weave in ends.

I tied a loose knot in the middle of the vine and it looked like a leaf. Use matching yarn and a yarn needle to sew knot to the base of the pumpkin stem.
