Candy canes add color to any Christmas tree and there are many patterns available. This one by Yarnspirations is my favorite and is super simple to make. It adds a nice touch to our “Countdown to Christmas Calendar“.
Materials Needed
Yarn: Worsted weight in white and red
Crochet Hook: Size F; This is one size smaller than the pattern calls for. I used it to make a tighter and smaller cane.
Miscellaneous: Yarn needle
About The Pattern
Directions: Follow directions for making “Candy Cane Ornament” Yarnspirations.
Please be aware that at first you will think “I made a wimpy stick!”. The hanger turns it into a candy cane so don’t worry.
Hanger: Bend part of the cane over as shown in the photo. With G hook and red yarn, sl st in top of one red section. Ch 10, sl st in same st on cane. Finish off and weave in ends.
