When we go on trips I like to leave little crocheted items for people to find. In the past I have left rubber ducks dressed in crocheted sweaters and crochet covered rocks. This year I thought it would be fun to make simple wash cloths and leave them in restrooms. I have a MAJOR issue with public restrooms and am SUPER picky where we stop.
Before leaving I found a few patterns to try and made cute tags. Well, I forgot the tags and didn’t have service to pull up the patterns in drop box. Luckily, I was able to whip up some cloths from memory and they turned out just as cute. As for the notes, not so much. I wrote a simple note on some paper I had in the car, folded it in half and wrote “take me” on the outside. I folded the square in quarters and tied matching yarn around in a bow.
I decided to make cloths my mom has been making for years. I know the pattern by heart. It can be made with any size hook from H – J and in any size.
