The Duke of Snappiness — 23″
The Original Porch Goose
Before porch geese came roaring back into style, Heidi got a 23″ goose for Christmas in 2021 and her youngest son, Hayden, named him Duke (first it was spelled “ducke” because Heidi kept calling him a duck). Naturally, Duke immediately needed clothes. That simple request helped launch years of Snappy Tots goose designs—and eventually an entire flock.
Hildegard “Hildy” — 28″
The Colorado Girl
Hildy is a 28″ cement goose who made quite a journey. A man delivered her all the way from Colorado to Heidi in Utah so patterns could be designed for the bigger geese too. She arrived cement gray, got a fresh coat of paint, and officially joined the Snappy flock.
Wally — 19″
The Walmart Goose
Wally joined the flock when 19″ porch geese started appearing at Walmart, bringing yet another goose size in need of a proper wardrobe. He may have come from a big-box store, but around Snappy Tots, no goose stays generic for long.

Doodle — 17″
The Little Porch Goose
Doodle joined the flock as a smaller 17″ version of the classic porch goose. With the same familiar shape as Duke in a more petite package, Doodle made one thing very clear: goose fashion should never be limited by size.
BEFORE THE GEESE TOOK OVER…
Snappy Tots already had a few characters making history.
Long before Snappyland had streets, shops, and an alarming number of dressed geese, these characters were part of the story.
Miss Patoola Berrymore
The One Who Started It All
Before the geese, before Snappyland, and before more than a thousand Snappy Tots patterns, there was Miss Patoola Berrymore.
This pink polka-dot backpack bear in lime green pantaloons was Heidi’s very first totally original crochet design—the pattern that helped start everything that came after her.
Snappy history: Every story has a beginning. This is ours.
Miss Snappy
The Original Adventure Girl
Miss Snappy was the very first doll designed at Snappy Tots—and she was never particularly interested in spending her life sitting on a shelf.
She traveled along on adventures with Heidi, becoming one of the earliest Snappy characters to have a life and story beyond her crochet pattern.
Snappy history: Apparently taking crochet characters on adventures started long before the geese.
Mr. Chesh
Retired. Allegedly.
Mr. Chesh was the first Snappy Tots design to take on a personality all his own. A fuzzy purple and pink cat hat with a rather unforgettable grin, he eventually retired after years of Snappy adventures.
At least, that was the plan.
Mr. Chesh still mysteriously appears from time to time. No one is entirely sure why. No one is entirely sure how. We have learned not to ask too many questions.
Current status: Retired. Missing. Probably fine.
